Whitewater Memorial State Park is located on State Road 101 in Liberty, Indiana. Brookville Reservoir can be accessed from the park as well as Whitewater Lake.

Two boat launch ramps to Whitewater Lake and one ramp to Brookville Reservoir are available. Only boats with electric trolling motors are permitted in either of these bodies of water. In addition, rentals of canoes, paddleboats, and rowboats are available for the convenience of park guests.

Overnight guests may stay in one of the park's family housekeeping cabins or at the campground. There are 236 Class A campsites, 45 Class B campsites, and 45 horsemen campsites available. Class A sites feature electrical hookups, picnic tables, fire rings, parking spurs, restrooms, showers, and drinking water supplies. Class B sites feature picnic tables, fire rings, parking spurs, modern restrooms and showers, and supplies of drinking water. Horsemen sites have tie-ups available for up to 6 horses per site. Youth tent areas are also available. Some reservations may be made in advance. A camp store and garbage dumping facility are accessible by campers as well.

Hiking, fishing, ice fishing, picnicking, swimming, and various cultural arts programs are among the many features the park has to offer. A saddle barn, bridle trails, and a beach are also available at the park. The park has interpretive services that are available on a seasonal basis. Picnic shelters may also be reserved in advance.
