Saguaro National Monument (East and West) (FREE!)

See the Saguaros and desert animals come alive at the Saguaro National Monument(s). The Saguaro National Park is one of the newest national parks in America. It is comprised of Saguaro East and Saguaro West. Each lies on opposite ends of the city of Tucson. The eastern section is mostly wilderness, with no roads. There is an 8-mile scenic drive known as Cactus Forest Drive. It provides many views of desert life. Both parks are free of charge for visitors.

Dark Mountain Brewery

Take a tour of a genuine southwestern winery. This winery is set in the Rincon Mountains on the far east side of Tucson. For $2 you may take a tour of the winery which includes a tasting of wine or beer at the end.

Colossal Cave Mountain Park

Take a tour of this famous cavern and learn a little about AZ history. Visit the gift shop, hike the trails nearby or visit the riding stables. Prices for park admission are around $3.00. Guided tours of the cave start at $4.00.

Old Tucson Studios

This old style western town has shops, rides, live action shows, a stagecoach, train, you name it! Even several restaurants to choose from. You’ll feel like you just stepped back in time to the old west. Admission begins at $9.45.

Arizona Sonora Desert Museum

This natural history museum is mostly a walking experience, with over 20 acres of park to visit! Take a walk on the paths provided, go on a bird walk or visit the botanical garden. Admission prices begin at $9.95 for adults. Children 6-12 years are $1.75 and under 6 are free.
