The professional sports in Toronto are wonderful. The hardest ticket in town to buy would be the Toronto Maple Leafs. The city eats, sleeps and breathes the Leafs. They play in the newly developed Air Canada center. Also playing in the Air Canada center is the NBA’s Toronto Raptors. Although coming to the city in the late nineties, the crowd support has already grown for this basketball team. One can see the Toronto Blue jays play baseball in the beautiful sky dome This stadium is one of the world’s first retractable roof stadiums. It offers a variety of restaurants and even a hotel.
To get a taste of tradition one should go to old home of the Maple Leafs, the Maple Leaf Garden. This stadium has been around since the early nineties and has some of the greatest memories of the NHL.
