Kenlake State Resort Park is located 40 miles southeast of Paducah, Kentucky. This 1,795-acre park is on the mid-west shoreline of Kentucky Lake and has the longest shoreline of any man-made lake in the world. It is minutes away from Land Between the Lakes, which is a nature lover's paradise.

Visitors may stay at the 48-room Kenlake Hotel that features beautiful gardens and lovely views of the lake. Its gift shop has an assortment of Kentucky handcrafts and souvenir items. The 182-seat dining room offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus. For more private quarters, 34 cottages are available with one, two or three bedrooms and one or two bathrooms. The cottages offer decks and screened porches that look out toward the lake, wooded areas, or the golf course. Cooking utensils, tableware and daily fresh linens are also included. The 90-site campground has utility hookups, a garbage dumping station, and a central service building with showers and rest rooms. It is open from April 1 to October 31.

Meeting rooms are available at Kenlake as well. The Garden Room is enclosed in glass and overlooks the lake while accommodating up to 100 banquet-style guests. There are three other meeting rooms on the lower level of the lodge and can seat between 30 to 210 guests.

Park visitors may also enjoy the Kenlake Marina that is equipped with 76 open slips, 130 covered slips and a boat-launching ramp. Rentals of pontoon boats, fishing boats, and ski boats are available as well. The marina is open between March 1 and October 31. Fishing opportunities abound with a large stock of largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, white bass, Kentucky bass, bluegill, crappie, blue catfish, channel catfish, and sauger.

A swimming pool can be found behind the lodge and is available for lodge and cottage guests exclusively. The park has a 9-hole golf course with a full service pro shop that offers cart and club rentals. The golf course is open year-round, weather permitting and the pro shop is open from March through November. The indoor tennis center offers four indoor courts, locker room facilities, and a fully equipped pro shop. Adjacent to the tennis center are four lighted outdoor courts and an additional court is located near the lodge.

Kenlake has two nature trails. The Cherokee Trail is .7 miles long and the Chickasaw Trail is 1 mile long. Picnic and playground areas can be found in the camping and cottage areas and throughout the park. There are also two shelters located near the tennis courts that are available for rental. Special events are held throughout the year as well.
