Depression is my eyes one of the most difficult emotional illnesses to overcome. Symptoms of this illness include moodiness, troubled sleep, and loss of appetite. Other indicators also include feelings of loneliness and desperation, and tendency to blame oneself for anything bad that may happen. Letting go of these feelings and moving on from this emotional illness can be incredibly difficult because it cannot only be solved with certain medications. You need to put all of yourself into changing the daily habit of sadness and give all your effort into changing yourself.
A doctor can prescribe you the best medications and assign you to the best therapists, but without your own will to change your illness, you will not be able to successfully overcome your depression. You have to open yourself up and allow yourself reveal to your doctor and most importantly yourself, to see why you feel so melancholy and hopeless. You have to realize that certain events and situations are out of your control. You have to understand that not everything is your fault, and that sometimes you really can't change bad things from happening.

Start expressing your feelings to others, because no matter how much you feel they won't understand, it will make you feel better to show some emotion. Bottling up your feelings will never help anything. You have to think of your emotions as a building. Exercise to get your aggression out, because as much as you may doubt this, while you are focusing your attention on exercising, you are simultaneously getting rid of your frustrations. Also, involve yourself in various projects and don't give up on them, show yourself you can start a job and finish it.
