Homemade Whipped Cream Recipe
This homemade whipped cream recipe is sweet and delicious. Can be used with strawberry shortcake or brownie trifles. Easy to make.
Ingredients:
one pint heavy cream (not whipping cream)
1 TBL vanilla
2 TBL sugar
utensils:
metal bowl, chilled
mixer
Chill the bowl first as that helps the cream to whip better. Pour the pint of heavy cream into the bowl. Add the vanilla and sugar. Beat on medium speed until cream starts to thicken. When it reaches desired thickness, you have home made whipped cream. Don't overmix the cream as you could end up with butter. Refrigerate any leftover whipped cream.
