4 pork loin chops - 1 ½ inch thick
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
½ cup apple cider
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
4 tablespoons margarine
½ cup chopped apple
¼ cup chopped celery
3 cups onion flavored croutons
½ cup chicken broth
Salt

Put pork chops, apple cider, brown sugar, vinegar and garlic in a covered dish and let sit in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours.

Heat oven to 350

Remove pork chops from marinade
Cut a horizontal slit in each pork chop to make a pocket
Cook apples and celery in margarine about 3 minutes
Mix apple mixture, croutons and broth
Spoon in about 2/3 cup stuffing mixture into each pork chop pocket
Place the pork chops in baking dish along with any remaining stuffing mix
Sprinkle pork cops with salt
Bake covered for 20 minutes
Uncover turn chops, and bake for 30 minutes or until done
Serves 4
