Ingredients
8 cups popped popcorn
1 cup cocktail peanuts
1 cup of sugar
3/4 cup margarine
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1 tablespoon light corn syrup

Directions
Combine popcorn and peanuts in a greased baking pan; keep mixture warm in the oven at 300 while making the syrup mixture.

Butter the sides of a 2-qt saucepan; combine the sugar, margarine, water, peanut butter, and corn syrup. Cook mixture over medium heat until boiling, stirring constantly. Continue cooking over medium heat until it registers 240 on candy thermometer.

Pour mixture over popcorn and stir gently to coat popcorn; bake at 300 for 15 minutes, stir once and bake 5 minutes more.

Put popcorn mixture on waxed paper.

Break into clusters; serves 12.
