Milky Way Cake Recipe

8 ounces Milky Way candy bars, chopped
3 sticks margarine
1 stick margarine
4 eggs
5 cups sugar
2 ½ cup flour
1 ¼ cups buttermilk
½ teaspoon soda
1 cup evaporated milk
6 ounces chocolate chips
1 cup marshmallow cream
Preheat oven to 325
Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the candy and 1 stick of margarine together. Remove from heat and set aside
Cream 1 stick of margarine with 2 cups of sugar. Add eggs and buttermilk; mix in flour and soda. Stir in melted candy mixture. Bake for 70 minutes. Let cool 5-10 minutes before icing.
Combine the rest of the sugar and evaporated Milk; cook to soft ball stage. Remove from heat and add 1 stick margarine. Add Chocolate Chips and Marshmallow cream. Stir until melted and thick. Spread on cooled cake.
