Anisette Cookie Recipe
With it's wonderful whisp of licorice, this anisette cookie recipe is bound to please.
CAKE INGREDIENTS & DIRECTIONS
1/4 lb butter
1 3/4 cup sugar
6 eggs
2 teaspoon anisette
1 teaspoon orange juice
2 tablespoons baking powder
2 cups flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, anisette, and orange juice. Mix well.
Sift flour and baking powder into other ingredients and mix to a soft dough. Roll into 1" balls. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake 7 minutes until lightly brown.
FROSTING INGREDIENTS & DIRECTIONS
1 cup powder sugar
1 tablespoon butter, melted
3 tablespoonS milk
Mix and drizzle over cookies.
