Ingredients
1/2 cup milk (it can be lowfat)
2 tablespoons of butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 egg
1 package dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups lowfat sour cream (or regular)
6 tablespoons fresh, chopped dill (or 2 tablespoons of dry dill)
6 strips of crisp, cooked bacon
Directions
Put the yeast into the 1/2 cup warm water and let it poof.
Meanwhile, heat the milk to a boiling point in a saucepan, and remove from stove.
Add the butter, salt, and sugar to the hot milk, and transfer mixture to a large bowl.
Beat in the egg.
Stir in the poofed yeast mixture.
Stir in the flour a little at a time. Keep stirring until mixture is too thick to stir.
Use your clean hands to finish mixing the dough.
Cover with clean dish cloth and let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
Lightly grease a pizza pan, or cookie sheet if you prefer.
Roll out the dough to fit your pan, and transfer it to the pan.
Place dough in the preheated oven for FIVE minutes only.
Meanwhile, stir the chopped dill into your carton of sour cream.
Remove pizza from oven and spread it with the sour cream mixture.
Put back in the oven and finish baking for another ten minutes or so.
When done, take out of the oven carefully, and sprinkle evenly with the crumbled bacon bits.
Cool five minutes before slicing.
Serve and enjoy. A fresh fruit salad on the side complements the dish.
