Guacamole is a popular Mexican dip made of mashed avocados. This is mostly eaten as a dip for fried corn chips, but it is also very good with raw vegetables or as a filling for burritos and tacos.

INGREDIENTS:

4-6 ripe avocados (depending on size)
1 chopped tomato
dash of salt (about 1 tsp)
dash of black pepper
dash of red pepper flakes
1/2 red onion, chopped into tiny pieces
1/4 to 1/2 cup chopped hot banana peppers
2-4 minced garlic cloves
5 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
1 lime

DIRECTIONS:

Add all ingredients except the tomatoes, avocados, and lime juice into a big bowl. Then, add your avocados and chop them into small pieces while in the bowl. Stir so everything mixes evenly with the avocados. Then, add the tomatoes. Stir until they mix evenly with the avocados. Now squeeze and mix lime juice.

SERVE:

In a bowl with chips
On top of Mexican food
On sandwiches or hamburgers
