Fish Chowder Recipe
This great fish chowder recipe will warm up any kitchen.
Fish Chowder
2 tablespoon butter
1 sliced onion
6 cubes potatoes
2 cups fried fish- fileted
1 quart milk
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon pepper
Melt the butter and sauté the onions in it until the onion is light brown. Strain the butter into another pan and add the potatoes in one pint of boiling water. Simmer 10 min. Add the fish and simmer 20 min. Add the onion, milk, salt and pepper. Heat to boiling point. Serves 6 – 8.
