INGREDIENTS

10 cups water
3 cups dry pinto beans
3 tablespoons oil
3 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 pound ground venison
1 onion, diced
4 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons cumin
1/2 teaspoons cayene pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder

DIRECTIONS

Add water, beans, oil, and salt and start to cook on high. Brown ground meats and drain. Add onions to meats and saute until cooked. Add the meat and remaining ingredients to the crock pot and cook covered for 4 hours on high or 6 hours on low. Use flour to thicken if needed.
