Chocolate Brownie Recipe

3/4 c. margarine
3 square unsweetened chocolate
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c self rising flour
1/2 c chopped nuts
1/2 c quartered maraschino cherries
2 pkg semisweet chocolate chips
Melt margarine and unsweetened chocolate together in top of double boiler. Beat the eggs and gradually add sugar. Stir in the chocolate mixture; stir in vanilla. Stir flour into chocolate mixture. Stir in nuts and maraschino cherries; pour into greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cool. Melt semisweet chocolate over hot water and spreado n baked brownies. Cut into 2 inch bars.
