1 1/4 cups sugar
1 cup plain nonfat or low-fat yogurt
3 eggs
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
3 squares unsweetened baking
chocolate, melted and cooled slightly
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt

Frosting
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup plain nonfat or low-fat yogurt

Heat oven to 350F. Lightly grease and flour 8 inch square baking pan. Set aside. In large mixing bowl, combine sugar, 1 cup yogurt, the eggs, butter, melted chocolate and vanilla. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Beat at low speed until well blended. Spread mixture evenly in prepared pan. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely.

In 1 quart saucepan, melt chips over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add 1/4 cup yogurt. Stir until smooth. Spread frosting evenly over brownies. Makes 16 brownies. Enjoy!!
