French Chocolates

1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 Tbsp. Butter
3 squares semi-sweet chocolate
1/4 tsp. vanilla
various colored sprinkles, crushed nuts

Over very LOW heat, melt butter and chocolate.
Stir in milk.
Cook til thick--approx. 30 min.--over very LOW heat, stirring frequently.
Remove from heat, add vanilla, and cool a few minutes.
Drop bit size pieces onto greased cookie sheet.
Chill to speed cooling, if desired.
Roll pieces into balls and roll balls in sprinkles or crushed nuts.

TIP: If recipe is multiplied, cook each batch in a separate pot to aid thickening.
