This cheesecake recipe has the old fashioned flavor of REAL cheesecake without a lot of work.
1 1/4 c. crushed graham crackers
1/4 c sugar
3/4 c melted margarine or butter
1 lb cream cheese
1 pint sour cream
1/2 c sugar
2 tsp vanilla
Combine first 3 ingredients; press into the bottom of a 9 inch square baking pan. Chill in refrigerator. Combine cream cheese and 1/2 c sugar; beat in one egg at a time. Add 3/4 tsp vanilla. Spread over cracker crust and bake for 20 minutes in 375 degree oven. Cool 15 minutes. Combine sour cream, 1/2 c sugar, and the rest of the vanilla and spread on top. Bake for 10 minutes in 400 degree oven. Chill in refrigerator until cool. Enjoy!
