Crescent Roll Recipe For Your Bread Machine
Delicious and tasty crescent rolls made by using your bread machine to make the dough and your oven to bake them.
For 16 rolls:
1/2 cup milk
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons of active dry yeast
1 tablespoon melted butter
Except for the melted butter, put all ingredients in the bread pan. Put your bread machine on the dough setting and turn on. When the machine is done with the dough cycle, remove dough from bread pan and put onto floured surface. Shape dough into a log.
With a sharp knife, cut dough into 2 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball. Roll each piece out into a circle, about 8-10 inches wide. Using a knife or pizza cutter, cut dough into about 8 pieces, triangle-shaped. Starting at the wide end, roll each up. The pointed end should be on the top. With the point side on the bottom, place rolls on ungreased baking sheet. Let rise in a warm oven for 30-45 minutes, or until they double in size. Remove from oven to preheat oven.
Turn oven on to 375 degrees. Use the melted butter to brush over the rolls. Bake until golden brown, around 12-15 minutes. Serve warm with your favorite meal. Enjoy!
