Blackberry Pear Pie Recipe
This quick and easy English pie recipe combines wild blackberries and fresh pears in a light pastry for a pie perfect dessert.
1 x 9 inch sweetened pastry case
1/2 lb. wild blackberries
1 lb. fresh pears, skinned, cored, and thinly sliced lengthwise
1 tsp. cinnamon, sifted
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C). Spread condensed milk on base of pastry case. Put pear slices across milk and sprinkle on blackberries. Sift on cinnamon across entire pie. Bake in oven for 35 minutes or until golden. Serve hot or cold.
