This is a fantastic recipe for those of you who want a quick meal and love hot dogs, beans, and cheese. This is easy to make, is filling, and is loved by the kids.

INGREDIENTS:

2 cans pork-n-beans
2 to 3 c cheese (any type of cheese you desire: processed makes it creamier while a cheddar or marble jack makes it richer tasting, and Swiss gives it a very zesty flavor)
1 or 2 packs of hot dogs (8 or 10 count)
1 tsp English mustard (powder) optional

DIRECTIONS:

Mix the beans and cheese in a pot on the stove and cook at a medium heat stirring often. Once cheese has melted, you may add a tsp of English mustard (powdered) if you desire and mix.

While the cheese/bean mixture is cooking, cook the hotdogs. It is easier if you cut the hot dogs into fifths or fourths before cooking. You can use any size chunks of hot dogs you desire, though. Once hot dogs are cooked--about 6 to 8 minutes at a boil (you don’t want them to split open)--drain and put in with the bean/cheese mixture. Cook for about two more minutes.

Serve as a main meal over toast or bread.
