Basic Pie Crust Recipe
A recipe for a basic pie crust.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup less 1 tablespoon shortening
3 tablespoons boiling water
1 teaspoon milk
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
Beat shortening, water, and milk until smooth. Add flour and salt. Blend well. Form into a ball and flatten into a circle. Roll out dough to a 12-inch circle.
For a baked crust bake at 450 degress for 15 minutes.
