Ingredients:

4 large firm apples, peeled, cored, and cut into 6 slices each
1 1/2 cups white wine
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
vegetable oil for frying
yogurt

Batter:

2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup milk
3 large eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1 teasoon vanila
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon


Combine apples, wine, sugar, and seasoning and let sit for 3 hours.

Combine batter ingredients. Dip apple slices in batter and fry in vegetable oil until golden on all sides. Roll in sugar, and serve with yogurt. Enjoy!
