Aloo (Potato) Paratha

Ingredients.

Atta (wheat) flour 400 gms

Fat 120 gms

Fillings.

Potato 175 gms

Ginger 25 gms

Green chillies 4

Coriander leaves 10 gms

Chillie Powder 5 gms

Salt To taste

Method.

Boil, peel and grate potatoes. Chop ginger, green chillies and coriander leaves .Mix these items with salt. Mix all ingredients in a bowl for filling and divide in to 6 portions. Make dough with flour. Divide dough into 6 equal portions and keep aside for 5 minutes. Flatten each portion with the palm of your hand. Place the filling and enfold. Spread little flour on the top and flatten with a rolling pin about 7-inch diameter. Bake on a heated pan turning over twice. Put little fat on both sides.

This can be used with yogurt.



Lacha

Ingredients.

Big onions 100 grams

Tomatoes 100 grams

Cucumber slices 200 grams

Salt To taste

Lemon juice 30 ml

Chilli Powder 5 gms

Pepper Powder 5 gms

Cumin Seeds 5 gms


Method.

Cut onions to round shape. Place in cold water. Form rings. Slice tomatoes and Cucumber. Arrange tomatoes and cucumber slices on a plate with onion rings.Sprinkle with limejuice, salt, chilli powder, black pepper and cumin seeds.
